James is the owner and craftsman behind Ex31:3 Workmanship, a small-batch woodworking studio blending traditional handcraft with modern CNC precision. A former U.S. Navy submariner, he approaches design with discipline, curiosity, and a willingness to jump in with both feet. Though he’s only been carving with CNC for a couple of years, his projects are known for clean execution, thoughtful detail, and near dead‑on accuracy. Many of his designs are shared for others to enjoy and may require minor adjustments depending on individual setups and wood choices, but each one reflects his commitment to quality, creativity, and honest craftsmanship.
