This design was sized for an iPhone 6,7 or 8, which has a 4.7 inch tall screen. To adjust, select the screen opening ( make sure it is the only thing selected) and resize according to your screen size. Be sure to select the "adjust from center" option so it stays in the middle. You will also need to move the home button hole left or right to fit.
Estimated time: 5 minutes
Cut the front piece and the legs on the cnc using an 1/8 bit. You will also need a short piece of pine to help support the legs. This support piece should be 4 inches long and about an in wide. I used a 3/4 by 1 inch by 4 inch pine board.
Estimated time: 25 minutes
Center the support piece at least 1/4 inch below the opening and temporarily clamp. Position it so the support is not visible from the front and won't interfere with the phone.
Estimated time: 10 minutes
Temporarily clamp the legs as shown and the put the phone in to test position. If needed adjust parts. If phone is too thick, either sand the notch on legs or adjust design and cut again. If phone sits to high, adjust notch by sanding.
Estimated time: 10 minutes
Once everything is adjusted, disassemble , apply glue, clamp and let it setup. After glue dries, remove clamps and stain or paint.
Estimated time: 10 minutes
The file does not include the 2 legs nor 1 back piece. Only includes the front piece.
