Description

This is a candle/Battery light box. Four sides only. You can create the base and top as you desire. Several options. The last option is a pyramid shaped box. Only a bottom is required for that one. The corners were the tricky part. A 45° miter and a small piece glued in the corner worked fine.

Once it's made, measure the bottom and make a square rabbited piece for the sides to fit over that can be removed to light the candle or turn on the battery-operated light. If you use a candle, the top should have a hole to allow the smoke out. It's wood, so use common sense. Also, I found later that taping a colored sheet of plastic with different colors inside the box adds life to it. Or, fill the holes with different colored resin if you'd like.
