A front for a small square piggy bank. Features a little happy piggy with coins around. 3D design, requires ballnose bits - I used 1/16".
I carved this in Cedar as a test piece and ended up finishing the entire box in cedar as I liked the look. Sprayed with some oil based finish.

I am working on this 3D design for a piggy bank for my kids. I'll just do a simple box with a slot up top. Carved the front in cedar as test - and I think I might just keep it cedar.

Make sure to account for bit step over and carve time. With larger 3D carves the finishing pass might be a long one to finish.
