Matthew McCroskery

Very cool design! I'd like to make one, but your design has not been made public.

I went into edit and it is telling me it is Public. I am not sure what is going wrong.

Try now I just put a license on it. Maybe that was it.

Thank you for this!!! I just got my XCARVE today (finally) and wanted something to do as a test-carve... and since I have all these clamps and accessories, it is PERFECT to carve this design to keep it all organized. THANK YOU again! :)

Your so very welcome Galen. I wanted to make this right away but I ended up getting to busy making signs for my B&M business. So finally I got around to making this tray. I had a friend tell me this was next level OCD.:) So welcome to the club and enjoy your Xcarve. Happy cutting...

By the time this gets to the 3rd clamping tool, its already shoved my bit up into the collet, and from there, it keeps making things more and more shallow. Any idea what I can adjust to make this stop happening? I have went through 4 boards now trying to cut this design out.

Chris Zeppieri

I just gave this cut a shot and all of my shapes wound up about .050 too small.... Can anyone give me some advice on how to remedy this?

Chris Zeppieri

Brian Fleig

Thank you for this, I should have my first machine up and running tomorrow and this will be my first project. :)

I used a .125 2 flute endmill to cut this out.

Brett O'Neal

thanks for the design worked out well

Brett O'Neal

Chadwick Kyle

this didn't work out to well for me. I used the exact measurements and hardly any of the holes were big enough. They were slightly too small. Thanks though

Thank you for this design! I just got my X-carve yesterday and this was the second project I did. turned out great.

Some people are having trouble with the tool bit holes being small. It will not hurt to select them and make the size .15inch. This will give plenty of room for your tool shank.

Thank you, you are truly a saint!

Petros Mendonis

Thanks, this was so convenient to be able to have my clamps in order !!

Petros Mendonis

Jerry Moreno

What thickness does the board have to be. Thanks

Jerry Moreno

Kristi Allen

Carve stopped in the middle of the project. This is my first project...any suggestions?

Kristi Allen

Sean Cottman

thanks a lot for this!!!!

Sean Cottman

Thomas Berryhill

How do you select the holes to make them larger? Also, how do i lengthen the holder for my calipers? It is about an 1/8 inch too short. Yep. I’m a newbie.

Thomas Berryhill

Randall Hebert

I did a partial sample then a text file that I wanted to do then I made one of these. It shows me how much slop I have in my setup. Will tighten everything up then remake this with better wood. Used pine board I had so that may have added to the slop. Thanks to those who put this together.

Randall Hebert

Shannon Smolinski

I cut this a couple days ago...no luck my supplies did not fit into any of the slots. Only the calipers fit and the wedges... :(

Shannon Smolinski

Gregory Bandurske

nice! thankyou

Gregory Bandurske

Donald Yahnke

whats the best bit to use for this

Donald Yahnke

Eric Humbert

Carved this whole thing out and most of it is too small to accept the parts. Is there an updated version?

Eric Humbert

Randal Mansell

the depth of the cuts was not consistent. I had to go in and manually reset cuts for some of the pockets. it left out all of the holes for the clamp screws.

Randal Mansell

Vijay

everthing fits quite snugly. thank you for sharing. no need to widen anything.

Vijay

Brian Shinta

Hi Matthew, did you use any special software to scale the objects? Im currently trying to foam inlay my tools, but pictures aren't to scale. Thanks

Brian Shinta

Matthew J. Parker Sr.

Brian Shinta I just used easel to adjust the size to fit my tools.

Matthew J. Parker Sr.

Mike Beard
