DIY Corian + Walnut Trivets

These cute corian and walnut trivets are easy to make and are sure to make you smile the next time you're serving up a big dinner!
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Carved Wood Trivet
- Use 90-degree V-Bit to cut pattern in wood
- Use 1/8" straight-end bit to cut circle
- Lightly sand, and add mineral oil
2. Corian + Walnut Stripes
- Cut 1" pieces of corian and walnut (I used a miter saw)
- Glue into stripes using silicone adhesive
- Once dry, use 1/8" straight-end bit to cut out circle.
- NOTE: You could adjust the shape to any shape you like, or carve into this one as well!
- Sand and add mineral oil
3. Carved Corian + Walnut
- Carve geometric pattern into corian
- Cut out corian strip using miter saw (if carving into a larger piece of corian)
- Glue between two equally-sized pieces of walnut using silicone adhesive
- Once dry, sand and add mineral oil.
- NOTE: You could also cut this one into a circle, if preferred
