This project carves heating register covers out of 7" width hardwood flooring. The flooring is pre-finished, so it was carved from the bottom, with a clean piece of scrap wood below to minimize tear-out. The edges were stained to match the pre-finished top.

Thanks! It was done straight in Easel with the Voronoi generator for the holes.
