28" x 16" using .750 edge-glued white wood boards. I first paint the board black before carving, then a urethane sealer is sprayed on after carving and clean-up. This particular piece hangs in the training room of Brodhead (KY) VFD, of which I'm a proud member.

Firefighter Flag
Paint entire board in flat black, then carve in a two-step process. Use .125" end mill for roughing, 60 degree V-bit for finishing. Machine at a depth of .075"
