Also just a small tip if you use a 60 degree bit you can get the carve down to 25 mins but if you feel you really want to use a 30 degree if you set your depth on the letters to 3/8 so that your bit isn't trying to make the bottom of your letters flat. that cuts it down to 40 mins
Also what I would recommend is coping your screw holes to another sheet on the same file, you don't have to make a new project. Only copy the holes you want to drill and make sure the is only one bit in your select bit section, then carve perhaps that will solve your issue.
Oh yea that will happen. I ended up switching to screws on 90 percent of my projects due to that and the clap slipping. Once I did I never had that problem I just have to be mindful of when I am doing a cut out not to hit a screw

When I switch to drill it jogs to the first hole and machine locks up. have to rehome the machine :/
