You will need a 12 inch by 12 inch piece of wood for this picture Frame.
Just put it on your cnc router and cut it out. It cuts out the back side so that there is a recessed section so that the glass and picture can be retained. If you would like to engrave anything on the front then you will need to flip it over after it is cut out.
Estimated time: 51 minutes
With it cut out, you will need to get a 4 x 6 in piece of glass which you will put in first, then your picture, any type of backing (like cardboard), and then you will need some sort of tabs to hold it all together.
Just grab some hanging hardware and get to hanging all your new picture frames.
Hi, are you willing to share this publicly? I would love to make this for my grandkids photos. Thank you :-)
Jennifer Peterson
I'm sorry. I didn't realize it wasn't public. I think I changed it. Let me know how they fit together, I don't have a cnc router yet to test it.
Garrett
Thank you!! I will test out this weekend. :-)
Jennifer Peterson
If you change the size, as long as it is a square, will it still fit together?
adam
As long as you make all of them the same then they should fit together. I might suggest testing with some scraps to double check first.
Garrett
Two do not fit together.
adam
What outlining cut do you use so they fit together?
