Plan in Easel.com

Watch the YouTube Tutorial for full build.

Using Inventables easel.com CNC software you can quickly combine circles of various sizes and depths to make the cone to amplify the sound using the align tools.

Clamp it to the X-Carve

Clamp the project to the X-Carve cnc machine, you can use the below link for the free plans in easel for the hold down clamps i use. You can use these on your X-Carve to cut them out.

https://www.inventables.com/projects/work-piece-hold-down-clamps

The project is made from 2 pieces of framing timber about 150mm long laminated together and smoothed with a hand plance.

3

Carve it out

Press Carve in easel and let the machine work its magic and carve out the cone and phone holder.

4

Apply the finish

Sand the project and then apply some Danish oil with a rag, Danish oil gives a nice close to the wood feel. Danish oil is a mix of tung oils and varnish.

I also used a Veritas block plane to add a chamfer to the edges,

5

Listen up

Put your phone in and listen to some sweet tunes.

Never mind just use an inside outline for all the outside circles and a "fill" for the innermost one, for speed using the biggest cutter that will fit.
