A 3D carved tea box. Adjust the sides in workpiece 2 to make it as tall as needed so that your tea bags fit.

This model does need 1/16" ballnose bit when carved. Any rougher bits don't showcase the detail well. The sides and bottom are just a 5x5 box that you can create using a table saw, or adjust this lid to fit an existing opening.

I noticed the lid wasn't centered so I did it in my view

(Sides View) You are making a box ? should't 2 sides be equal and the other 2 the same
I did simple butt joints and have 2 sizes at 4.5" and 2 at 5", with a material 0.25" thick that ends up with box 5"x5".
