Cut parts on X-carve. If I had an X-carve I would have nice assembly photos. I will update with photos if I win. I promise. Cut from 3/8 inch birch plywood. I designed this with just line cuts, so there would be no double cutting of sizes that were next to each other. The dimensions should be spot on, but might need adjustments, after actually being cut. I will make adjustments the plans as needed once I get a X-Carve and build one!!
Estimated time: 38 minutes
Sides A and B attach between the front and back pieces. Glue and nail. Set bottom inside the four walls. Glue and nail. Roof A will over lap Roof B at ridge of house. Glue and nail.
The side walls should have gap at top for air flow under the roof
Cut small twig to fit into small hole below larger one for birds to rest.
Estimated time: 15 minutes
Trouble with roof sizes as they are too narrow to fit on top of end wall and provide the suggested overhang and in addition there would be a large gap at the top for ventilation. Have made the roof length the same as the side walls so it all fits together. Nice starter project/
