General Information

The inspiration for this project is that cylindrical bins are a pain to use with plastic shopping bags and I wanted a more elegant solution than just hanging a bag from a hook.

For context, I don't condone single use plastic bags, but in my city recycling is collected in them.

You should use plywood for your design instead of MDF. For the rings to fit around the large "U"s you have to flex them bit, mdf is not flex resistant at all so it might break.

Thanks Antonio, I certainly considered using ply, but I felt like with such a wire-frame structure I would want the form to blend together a bit through the materials and plywood has such strong 'direction'. As inflexible is, the part should have more than enough give to allow assembly.
