i love that there is zero information about this, what angle is needed on the bottom

I am not sure if I can help, and I am yet to make this. Going off of other designs similar to this, they use a 42 degree angle. My suggestion is to start with a scrap piece to figure out the Angle & Hole then proceed with the rest of the carve.
