Decorative shield featuring hand drawn designs. The final shield is created by two types if wood that creates a color contrast between the shield and the crest. The lion design was brought in the shield by using easels image trace feature

INSTRUCTIONS

1. shield

carve the outline for the shield out of walnut

Estimated time: 12 minutes

2. crest

Carve the inner crest and design out of soft maple

Estimated time: 48 minutes

3. combine

using wood glue attach the crest to the shield base making sure it is centered. Then display with pride
