General Information

Hello everyone this is a Peterbilt logo that was cut out of a piece of Pine I left it unfinished but make one out your own and let me know how you finished it

Setup and Carve

open in easel and make sure all your settings are correct

Easel setup:

When you open this in easel please make sure and check all your settings as mine may not work for you

Saftey Height: .150" Step over: 40% Feedrate: 45 in/min Depth of cut per pass: .0625" Depth of total cut letters: .110" Depth of total cut Outside: .748" material thickness: .748" Material type: Pine Wood Bit Size: .125" Bit Type: solid carbide 2 Flute straight flat end mill

Make sure and use tabs to hold the project in place as it is being cut

Also make sure that the letters are carved before the actual piece is cut out

make sure and give yourself enough stock so that you can clamp the project down with out crashing the machine or you can use double sided tape
