I basically overlapped a flag engraving over a texas shape cut. I did a white out of the extra flag on the outside of the texas shape. Used a 1/16 down cut bit. Burnt the wood before cutting.

1/16 down cut to outline , or a 90 vbit if i cut the stars out completely.
