I fabbed these up for my boat, as I had very little room between the ceiling panel and the fiberglass, so I wanted a custom housing for the light to sit in, and a strong support for the spring arms.

I still have to cut the channel in the back side for the wiring to feed through. After they come off the machine, I ran them through my router with a round-over bit. Then used a marine grade product called Total Boat Lust, a high gloss varnish used with a little thinner for a great finish!
