Maximizing a single piece of 8"x12" Corian, excess material is initially removed from the underside of the plate, to reveal two feet, creating a floating effect when on the table, and two sauce reservoirs. Finally, the second pass, all the pieces are cut, leaving bridges to hold all in place.
