This knob fits onto the hex nut on top of the Z axis acme screw. Allows for easy turning of the screw for adjusting bit height.

I like the concept! Not sure if this an old design, Did not fit hex nut with 1/8" bit, had to redo and make hex nut insert a bit larger. Also gets in the way of Dewalt router & Z-axis stop limit switch
