This is a 10" x 16" box designed to cut in one piece of 7/16" material on a 1 square meter X-carve. The example was cut in 7/16" OSB. Stained a bit with Briwax (this might work better if done before assembly). The bottom is split into two pieces to optimize material usage and to fit in 800x800mm.
Feed your X-Carve an 32"x28" piece of 7/16" stock.
Fit a 1/8" bit (down cut if you have one).
Cut it out.
Clean up the tabs.
Glue it together. A brad nailer makes glue-up easier.
Not sure what I did wrong. All i got was the two sides, the top insert and one small piece that isn't fit anywhere. Suggestions?

Hmm. Did you cut the right sheet? The first one is probably the one you want. The third one only includes those bits you mention. I think it was a recovery from a broken bit.

Oddly it looks like the published version of this is linking directly to the one I use when I make new boxes....so it is changing through time, which is not ideal for a 'published' item. Sorry about that!

Actually looking closer, the 4th and 5th panels go together. Cutting 2 of panel 4 and 1 of panel 5 will result in two boxes. Again apologies for the mixup, I did not realize I was changing the published version.
